SATURDAY 24 JANUARY 2026
SIR KEITH PARK MEMORIAL AIRFIELD, THAMES
GATES OPEN: 10AM – 3PM

Wings and Wheels Thames Inc.
Thames Wings and Wheels started as a group of like-minded car enthusiasts (Thames Vintage, Classic Car Club) who originally held the Cars in the Park, Thames event in conjunction with Heritage Week. It soon outgrew Victoria Park and morphed into Wings and Wheels.
Thames Airfield (now known as Sir Keith Park Memorial Airfield) had the land to hold something bigger, so why not add planes to the mix and really make it a day out for families to enjoy.
Each year it has grown bigger, attracting people from far and wide. The first year was a static display, then NZ Warbirds offered to do a small air display to show off their skills, and now we have included tractors, motorcycles, and Historic Re-enactment displays with military vehicles.
It has everything for a family day out. Bring along a picnic or buy some delicious morsel from one of the many food stalls, enjoy a relaxing beer in the beer garden, stroll around the cars, trucks, tractors, motorcycles, etc. Watch a display by the Historic Re-Enactment Society, hear the roar of a radial engine (big aeroplane engine), watch the airshow, sit and listen to some music.

Come and enjoy a
fun family day out!
